We aim to provide a friendly, professional service which is efficient and of high quality and would be pleased to see you for your New Zealand Visa Medicals.

Here at Bryden Medical we can do New Zealand visa medical examinations, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm so appointments are normally fairly quick to organise.

Please bring your passport, three photographs and any letters from any specialists you have seen which you feel may be useful.

Also download, print out and fill in your part of the latest version of the New Zealand Medical and Chest X ray form. Don't worry if you are unsure about a question, just leave it blank until the medical as Dr Bryden will be going through all the questions with you anyway.

If you have sometime before your medical it may be helpful to try to aim for a body mass index of less than 35 and a waist measurement of less than 88cm for women and 102 for men.

There are now eight compulsory blood tests for those aged 15 and over, which are HIV, Hep B Antigen, Syphilis, Liver function, Creatinine, Glucose, Lipid Profile and  a Full Blood Count.

If possible a fasting sample is best but this is not essential.

We do the medical here and the x ray is carried out in the Nuffield Hospital. You will need to phone them ( 0141 339 9441) to arrange for the chest xray appointment. They usually charge £80 and will courier the x rays over to us.

Our costs are:

Adults (age 15 and over)   £270 each, including the eight standard blood tests.

Children (under15)                        £ 80 each.

       Our centre is easy to find just across the road from Queen Street Station, Glasgow and a few minutes walk from Buchanan Bus Station, Central Station and the Underground. It is on the airport Glasgow Flyer 500 bus and many local bus routes, it is near the M8 motorway and there is car parking both directly outside and in nearby car parks like Buchanan Galleries.
