Dr Helen S Bryden, MB BCh, MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH, AFOM.
Originally from Glasgow, Dr Helen S Bryden studied Medicine at the Welsh National School of Medicine in Cardiff. She then worked in Medicine and Surgery in the Victoria Infirmary Glasgow, before SHO jobs in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Acute Geriatric Medicine, Accident and Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics in Central England. Following GP training in Blantyre, she became a GP Principal in Denniston, Glasgow. Later moving to Hong Kong she continued to work in General Practice with some Occupational Medicine and Visa Medical work. On returning to the UK she worked in Industrial Injury and Disablement and Incapacity Benefit for what was originally the Benefit Agency Medical Services. Dr Bryden later returned to GP in Hong Kong with her patients largely being International Expatriates who worked in a variety of sectors including the finance sector, the diplomatic community, the oil industry, construction industry and the aviation industry. She also continued in Immigration Visa Medicals and her work also involved Occupational Medicine for example she was the Medical Advisor to the Canadian Consulate General. Returning again to the UK in 2006, she has been working in Occupational Medicine including visa medicals and s private GP since. Setting up her own company in 2007, Bryden Medical Ltd, in the Historic Merchants House, she has a wide range of interests professionally and became an Associate of the Faculty of Occupational Medicine in January 2009, after completing the Advanced Diploma in Occupational Medicine course in Manchester in November 2008. Keeping up to date with sufficient Continuing Professional Development is important to her and as part of this she also recently passed the Advanced Life Support course and now has the DFSHR

Linda has worked in Occupational Health Administration for some years and her expertise is in trying to help clients to get the best service. She previously worked in libraries which may account for her close attention to detail and efficiency. She is the first point of contact when clients call and is well known for her helpful manner.
